SHELF TALKERS
ABANDONED, BUT NOT LOST!
Carole helped rescue this abandoned litter of ten-day old kittens from a schoolyard near her home in early April, 2005. Shelters can't handle unweaned kittens and must kill them, but not this litter. Four survived the first few weeks and went to new homes in pairs, thanks to the foster care of Texas author Dusty Rainbolt.
